Public right of way has been blocked for months by an electric fence, 27th April
Present for several months (originally when they were providing ground cover for bird shooting). There is an electric fence blocking a public right of way on Brandhouse Farm land, west of Avening Village. There is no gate through the fence or handle to disengage the electricity. With limited back mobility I have not attempted to jump the fence or allow the dog to pass. The footpath is inaccessible from the top of the hill (via the ‘Sunken Road’) and from the lane leading to and through Brandhouse Farm from West End, Avening by the gates to the farm.

The road drain is blocked resulting in rain running down into our cattle grid and taking with it rubble and soil etc. The urgency is that cows from the Minchinhampton Common are due to arrive in May and they wander through the village. They would be able to cross the cattle grid and more seriously may get their legs trapped as they sink in the mud causing injury., 25th April
Corner of Box Lane beside the private drive sign. This problem has occurred before and you have very kindly cleared away the problem gravel and soil and cleared the drain. Many thanks
