Blocked drain on road caused flooding to nearby workshop, 13th May
The road drain just up from Hallidays mill GL6 8NR is completely blocked with grass visibly growing out of it. We had a big rain storm that came down the road and entered the ground floor workshop causing damage to property. This has been an annual event due to the volume of water that comes down Cowcombe hill and the drains need clearing more often if possible.

FW: Dying Ash Tree - London Road - Close to Chalford Industrial Estate, 13th May
Good afternoon
I would like to express some concern regarding a dying Ash tree which is precariously positioned close to the boundary of our business and the main A419 London Road, opposite The Old Neighbourhood.
The tree seems to be almost dead. There has been some recent Ash Dieback work completed in the area and I wondered if this particular tree may have been missed.
Should the tree topple it would almost certainly cause damage to overhead telephone wires if it were to fall on the main road. It would also cause extensive damage to our listed property within our boundary.
Please see some photographs of the tree. I would be very grateful If someone could attend to assess its current state.

Verges too tall for people in low cars to see safely, 11th May
If coming up Middle Hill with the park/Thomas Keble on the left and the allotments/scout hut on the right, it is very hard to see oncoming traffic from Bisley (the right) at the crossroads as the verges have grown too high. It’s ok if you’re in a van or 4x4 but in a standard low car, it is difficult. The verge runs alongside the road beside the allotments.
