It has been reported before last year. It’s a manhole cover that has sunk below the tarmac road causing a problem for cars. It’s on the road side driving into Bourton from Little Rissington, near the river bend.

It fills up in heavy rain, does not drain away and contributes to the flood problem on the footpath. It needs digging out and the connecting pipe to the surface water main drain rodding or jetting to ensure the water flows away.
