Road Drain blocked, has not been serviced for years, 23rd April
The drain near the Coalhouse Inn has been blocked for several years with no sign of it being serviced in that time. Also after all the flooding from October until last week when the lane was flooded for most of this time, the road surface and edges are in urgent need of repair. Also several culverts under the lane are subsiding & blocked. A Surveyor/Engineer would be required to assess the damage to the lane also to liaise with property owners about how to improve access when lane floods (It can be easily walked with wellingtons for most of its length if flooding is not too bad but the mid section by Dippers Cottage turn can be 15-20 deep whereas the rest of the lane is only 6 deep) Also a solution to where the blocked drain is located would be to raise the carriageway at this location (again this can be 15-20 deep when the rest is only 6 deep) if this was done then water run off would not require the (blocked) drain as it could exit into the nearby ditch via a gulley cut from the road to the ditch. Apologies for the length of this but most feel that the lane has been neglected by Yourselves for far too long (an example is Wainlodes Lane is always swept after a flood whereas Gabb Lane has not seen anything done to it for Years)

There is a nasty pothole on the B4213, after the turning for Wainlodes and going towards Haw Bridge & Tirley. The pothole has been there for a few weeks now and is getting bigger. Cars are having to swerve into the oncoming traffic lane to miss it., 19th April

Road flooded by The Folly just before Tirley, 5th April
Road flooded by The Folly just before Tirley. Road has started flooding here on a frequent basis. Water is currently flowing on to the road. Currently easily passable as seen in the photo attached but often the water covers the whole road in two separate places. There are no signs to warn drivers of the flood and in the dark is quite dangerous.

Flooding on road as enter Tirley from Corse end, 4th April
Flooding on road as enter Tirley from Corse end. Drain is blocked. Water no longer goes under road but instead floods the road. Photo shows large puddle. But if it rains a lot the water completely covers the road and in the dark this could cause an accident.
