Mud still on road after recent hich tides, 9th April
We used to be on a council road cleaning service because of the high tides repeatedly covering our road surfaces. I've now reported this problem five times and we still are up to our ears in mud!

Excessive silt deposit following series of spring tides, 13th March
The road through Gatcombe and turning circle at the end have a thick (>10cm in places) layer of silt and mud following the recent tidal flooding. This could potentially lead to traffic hazard - not least people avoiding the area and turning in private driveways. Please could you schedule a clean up as a matter of urgency.

Culvert remains blocked, 2nd March
This is the 3rd time I have had to report this, in as many weeks! The culvert is completely blocked. Every time it rains, the road becomes a river. If this is not dealt with on the third time of reporting this, I feel fully justified in contacting the local press in order to get this matter resolved. The locals living in Gatcombe get very little for the council tax we have to pay, and this total lack of action from the Highways Department is a typical example. Four weeks ago, I reported a tree that was partially blocking the lane. Again, no response from the Highways, and we eventually had to deal with it ourselves.

Whole road, 19th February
The entire road from Brookend to Purton is covered in potholes and has been for a long time, years in fact. I travel this road quite often and it's getting worse. At the moment, with all the flood water you can't see some of them making worse. Please can someone travel this road to see the problem.

Huge pothole in centre of carriageway, 17th February
Between Ironwells and Kingshill farm, by ponds nearest to ironwells. This is now the only way to leave Hinton due to the other end being so dangerously full of submerged potholes by the turn to sharpness, ( reported since January but not fixed) Photo at this location show the sub base is now being thrown out of the hole onto the carriageway.

Pipe that runs under the entrance to a gateway is blocked causing the ditch to overflow across the entire road., 14th February
On the corner opposite the entrance to the Bristol Water treatment plant. The ditches have recently been dug out, but several of the 'pipes' are still blocked. The problem has got worse since the ditches have been cleared because the water is flowing quicker, but is then backed by the blocked pipes.

Multiple holes leaving no carriageway to drive over, 5th January
Just before Hinton farm, Hinton, driving from Brookend direction, the carriageway has multiple holes, this makes any car passing unable to avoid the holes as there are so many and to the sides the highway is crumbling to nothing. The road has been deteriorating over a prolonged period and these holes seem to be left when other are filled,
