Flooding/drainage on shared path, 4th January
The shared footpath to the North West of Blairvadich Council Offices floods and is (a) impassible to walkers many times during the year, and (b) a risk for cyclists and horses. The alternative is to walk on the sodden grass - which is often also flooded - or on the very busy A814. The path to the South East of the council offices doesn't fare much better; on high precipitation days a "river" runs down the path to collect just before Aros Road. This in turn feeds into the other water that causes the road to flood.
