FIXMYSTREET IN G61 4NL
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of G61 4NL:
Road surface extremely poor/dangerous, 3rd May
The road surface in this alley is in desparate need of resurfacing. Barring a small patch job (pictured) made in the last year or so, the surface has not been repaired in 15+ years.
It has degraded to the point where there are multiple trip hazards, lots of broken glass caught in the cracks, and at some points, more grass/moss than road.

Signpost too low, 29th April
The "20's plenty" sign on the North side of the carriageway has slipped down the pole far enough that there is a risk to pedestrians' of bashing their head into it.
It has been like this for a few weeks now, and persists after the resurfacing works on Dumgoyne Ave.

Road surface appalling, 18th April
The main part of Craigton Avenue was resurfaced last year, but for some reason the surface of the “square” where we live - we are no 30 Craigton Ave, and I believe the square begins at approx no 14 - wasn’t done. The surface of both the road and pavement in the square is shocking; I’m a wheelchair user, and the pavements are virtually unusable for much of the area directly around our home due to the uneven surfaces and high/damaged kerbs. The road itself is in terrible disrepair and I’m still angry and confused as to why it was left out of the resurfacing works last year.

Traffic ignores Twenty is Plenty sign on Whitehill Road, 29th March
I have loved at 2 Whitehill Road for ten years on the corner of Thorn Road. Traffic typically flies around that corner at speeds much greater than 20 mph. School children include my own need to cross the road safely and concerned about a potential accident if nothing is done. Could you pls look at speed bumps or deterrent cameras for the speeders? Thanks Mary

Poor drainage due to debris collection, 29th March
There is no drainage on the Jubilee Path due to the amount of debris (mud/weeds) that has collected at the side of the path and under the railway line fence. Makes the path almost un-passable with a small amount of rain. Needs the debris cleared so water can drain away to side of path.

Long deep hole opening between sides of raod, 20th March
A large deep long hole is opening between both sides of the road right on the bend in the middle of the road. This is dangerous for multiple reasons as cars are swerving to avoid and dur to the depth it could throw cars off their line. Also due to faded lines on parking side cars cut the corner more which could cause an accident.
