Double decker busses going over pothole, 4th May

Sat, 04 May 2024 08:19:44 +0100
55.823198 -4.264726

There are a couple of potholes which have been here for months. There have been attempts to fix it but it keeps opening up again due to huge double decker busses going over it multiple times a day. It causes my entire flat to shake and we are concerned about structural damage. The area of the road needs to be resurfaced before the flats nearby suffer damage. When the busses go by but don't hit the potholes, there is no shaking so fixing the road would solve everything for the buildings around it.

Constant red light jumping through this pedestrian crossing, 3rd May

Fri, 03 May 2024 13:47:50 +0100
55.818239 -4.261557

Can a camera be installed on these lights? If you try to use this pedestrian crossing at rush hour you will witness constant red light jumping from drivers coming from the south and continuing onto Holmlea Road or turning east onto the B762. Every day there is a queue of drivers waiting to turn right, many on mobile phones and many who go through the red lights as pedestrians are trying to cross. It's particularly dangerous as the B762 is one way so many drivers cut the corner as well as going through on red.

Seriously Speeding Vehicles, 1st May

Wed, 01 May 2024 15:34:51 +0100
55.808981 -4.290357

Living on Merrylee Park Avenue we know that the road at certain times of day can be predictably busy with general through traffic , school buses, school children walking to and from school and a generally older population in the vicinity going about there business. How ever the amount of excessive speeding coming from Fenwick Road or Braidbar Road going in each direction is terrifying and it is only a matter of time before somebody is killed in the process. One particular where Mercedes must be hitting 80 mph ( guesstimate) each Monday afternoon at approximately 2.50 pm. Maybe going to pick kids up from the primary school just down the road. I will try and get a video next Monday. How do we go about introducing some sort of speed restrictions for this road ? There is also a blind hump in the road which means it's pure luck nobody is coming out of the drives or crossing the road. My 89 mother crosses the road to simply go shopping and have her hair done and is now terrified to step off the pavement for the idiots who think this is acceptable ?? Please can you put in the right direction for help before somebody gets killed.
