Trying to get to the doghouse gym and won’t be back until this road is fixed. My pal burst her exhaust on one and I burst a tyre! Shocking the state of the road down here there is no way to avoid them. Also I know it’s been reported more than 3 times to the council!

Big holes in old rusted drain cover in centre of cycle path, 11th February
On the cycle path Caledonian mart to fallin, in the underpass under the A91, there are several holes in the rusted metal drain cover big enough to ride into with your wheel and come to an abrupt standstill. Very dangerous. These holes have been here for at least a year when I reported them to Sustrans. Obviously nothing has been done about it and it's getting worse. If no accidents have occurred yet, that is pure luck. These are very dangerous to unaware cyclist. Please fix as soon as possible.

Padlocked Gate blocks access to vital 76 Cycle Route, 5th March
There is a padlocked shut gate blocking access to the 76 cycle route, halfway through. This is extremely dangerous as there is signs for the route the whole way, but no mention of the route being blocked.

Road markings to indicate what lane to be in. I travel this route every day and from the roundabout at the morrisons end people use this road as two lanes as it is a wide road, but people travel up the middle of the road over the road markings then go in the wrong lane to go straight over at the roundabout. There will be a head on smash at some between cars going from the b and q to the morrisons end and the morrisons end to b and q end, it is worse because the bridge over the rail is closed., 31st May
Approaching the round about there is no road marking to show what lane to be in to go straight over. I travel this route everyday and see people cutting in front of other drivers this will cause a accident soon.

"Kissing" gate, 4th January
There is a "kissing" gate here which prevents many people from using NCN 76. I, a fit and able-bodied cyclist, struggled to pass through with a normal bike. People with tandems, bike trailers, cargo bikes, handcycles or wheelchairs are likely to find it very difficult or impossible to pass. The surface through the kissing gate is also not great.
In the attached photo, the kissing gate is to the right of the gate across the road.
Cycling by Design contains guidance for barriers on cycle routes, which should be followed.
I believe the existing gate is almost certainly illegal under equality legislation. Please remove or fix it.

Resurfacing of recent road works is extremely poor. Has made road conditions even worse from the a905 to the roundabout. Hopefully this is a temporary surface.

Core path 9078Po/22 (Millhall to Fallin) flooded at this location. Has been like this since at least 9th February 2016. Impassable on foot. This is also part of National Cycle Network route 76.
