Mud, 25th February
Mcaig farms are continually dumping sewage sludge on the site of Heathery Knowe before Black Briggs Farm, this causes the road surface to be continually covered in mud and silt. The grip on the road surface is not good. If this continues an accident may occur. This needs looking into and action taken to sweep the road regularly.

Continues to be mud on road, 20th February
All the road leading up to Heathery knowes is covered in mud ,this is site is being used as a dump for sewage. The road surface has little grip as road continues to be used constantly with heavy vehicles dumping sewage.

Mud on road, 5th February
Mccaig Farms are dumping sewage in this site. The road is covered in mud and is a slippery surface on which an accident is waiting to happen. I would suggest the put on a road sweeper ,when they carry out this process.

Road surface, 12th February
The road surface on this stretch of road is terrible it is an off road experience on which should be a normal road surface. The roadside banking have all been churned up with the continuing sewage lorries from McCaig Farms using this road. This is a narrow road which is not suitable for this heavy traffic.Cars are going to be damaged with this road if it is not repaired.

Mud etc on road, 20th September
This road has been continually covered in mud for weeks. On the broom farm next to the road they are spreading liquid sewage on fields,and then dragging this on to the road.The surface is covered i thick mud which makes it dificult to get purchase and greasy. This road is dangerous an accident waiting to happen,

There are a number of potholes on the stretch of road between High Boxton and Balnacree farm.They need repair as they are getting worse as drivers have no choice other than to drive through them which in turn makes tem even bigger

Potholes, 11th January
2 Potholes have formed on the westbound carriageway at this location, which looks like it is a failed section of carriageway that already has been patched prior to these potholes forming, Carriageway is showing signs of structural deterioration. Whole route from the T junction (lochend) to Slamannan seems to be affected by a few deep potholes.

This is a continuing problem on this road ,as artic lorries are constantly dumping sewage sluge in field . There needs to be a road sweeper used by the Firm running this outfit

There is constantly a lot off mud dragged onto road by Artic lorries that are dumping sewage sludge in field. The road surface when covered in mud makes it more likely to cause an accident.This road should not be like this.

This road is always has mud on it ,as it is the entrance to the field where they are tipping sewage sludge. There are many artic loads aday which compounds the problem. The road should be swept on a regular bases.

Potholes in need of attention, as this road is being used to to take extra traffic as the Darnrigg road is closed for four weeks.Road needs repaired to withstand constant traffic.

Potholes that you are un able to miss very deep will cause damage to cars, as the darnrigg road is to close tommorow an increase in traffic on this road will cause the road to be even worse. This need fixed now.

There are numerous potholes on road leading to the roundabout on the B8028. They are impossible to miss as they are getting bigger all the time you have to drive at 5miles per hour or less to try and minimise damage to car.

Mud on road, 21st July
Excess amounts of mud on road at bottom of the hill due to very large tractors going in and out of Redbrae farm with loads of bricks. The grass verge is also being ruined due to the size of machines on this very narrow road.

Major potholes, 11th April
This full roads surface is very poor and in particular there is a pothole which covers more than half of the road surface at this area. Other very large potholes cover the rest of the road. I use this road frequently and it is not completely impossible to miss the holes and I have to drive slower than 20mph down the road but still I feel my car is in danger of being damaged. As a frequent user of the road I know that a lot of drivers go very fast and I fear that it will not be long before there will be a serious accident. The potholes are potholes by name only, it looks more like half of the road surface is missing. I hope something can be done about this soon, before a serious accident occurs. Thank you.
