I live at Woodbrooke, it is a rural lane but is now in such bad repair only four wheel drives can pass safely. I own a land rover but have had to change my wheel bearings and my steering rack broke as a result of this lane. We have had a "temporary road surface" sign on the lane for over a year now but nothing happens. When it rains with the damage to the road as it is no car should be allowed down. Really the road needs closing for safety reasons but me and other properties would be cut off. PLEASE resurface this lane NOW as so much damage is being done. Nikki

Serious pothole., 7th January
Large pothole obscured by water which regularly gathers there. On nearside of road heading west from Cheriton Bishop to Crockernwell. On busy bus and school bus route. Will seriously damage cars with smaller wheels, and could be lethal when frozen later.
