The whole road is very badly potholed., 11th February
This must be one of the worse roads in Devon, its unbelievable that it hasn't been sorted out. The whole road is covered in potholes and washed out 'quick fixes'. If left much longer it will be unusable.

I work for a small business down this lane. Our customers are complaining that the road is ruining their cars. We've complained before and the road is patched up but only for the potholes to reappear after the next storm. The road needs resurfacing. Come and see how truly awful it is

Road very bad, damaged tyre due to pot holes, 9th February
Potholes have got worse and have now caused damage to front tyre which had to be replaced. This road has been bad for a few years now. The temporary measures do not last long.

Road becoming impassable., 3rd February
Road now one pothole after another. Making it dangerous for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists! Ongoing problem for years, but at least potholes used to be filled in a timely manner. Businesses on this road paid towards the repair of part of it but the rest of the road from Pye Corner through to Jackmoor is very bad.

Approaching Upton Pyne from Thorverton, 28th September
The road leading from Thorverton, directly into Upton Pyne, is absolutely appalling and has been in an extremely bad state of repair for some time now and has increasingly been getting worse.
I can only guess at the number of replacement 'shock absorbers' that will have to have been purchased as a result of all the potholes. It is really quite awful, therefore please will you carry out the repairs as soon as possible to the highest standard in order to help the road and its users get through the Winter, which, we understand is likely to be harsh.
