The Devon County Council was warned a year ago and nothing only to say it was not bad enough well now its time to act as the stones that are flying out of this crevise is hitting passers by and hitting parked cars this has to stop ! Location is A399 Victoria Street outside Lynton Cottage.

Pothole has been there for many months and is increasing in size on a weekly basis. People are driving on the wrong side to avoid it. It has potential to case an accident not only damage vehicles particularly on the national speed limit stretch.

Whole section of road in poor condition, 21st April

Multiple potholes around the bend, blocked drains causing water to overflow across the road, was reported as an ice hazard months ago, still not sorted !, 12th March
Cars on wrong side of road now as several deep potholes have been washed out by the constantly overflowing drains. Lethal for motorcyclists and bicycles. Another series of big holes just a bit farther up the bend caused by poor drain maintenance again.

Drains at the bottom of Corner Lane are blocked at High Cross. Water and debris pouring across main High Street. Accumulation of mud, gravel and debris shovelled up and left in piles. Traffic and pedestrian hazard. Continuing problem after heavy rains.

Dangerous kerb defect - where lots of young children walk, 22nd July
There is a very bad edge to the kerb near bottom of Hangman Path - at junction with Borough Rd. combe Martin - just outside door of Teena's Sweetshop. The path here is used by many parents and young children going to and from the nearby school. Risk of injury to pedestrians.

Dangerous kerb defect - likelihood of serious pedestrian injury, 22nd July
Failure of previous repair to the curved section of kerb at junction of Borough Road and Cross St. Combe Martin - opposite Loverings Garage. The chunk of concrete has come away - and could trip a pedestrian or cause serious ankle injury. Fixing this might avoid a big injury claim.
