Lane from Button to Knightacott - potholes, etc., 11th November

Mon, 11 Nov 2013 15:16:36 +0000
51.1325281636219 -3.93880597622692

There are numerous potholes appearing on the incline up to Knightacott which are gradually increasing in size where the edges of the potholes are breaking away. Very soon the lane will be almost impassable without damage to vehicles' suspensions. There is also a substantial amount of "run-off" debris in the lane creating "humps". This is partly caused by a landowner recently creating a new field access (legally or otherwise?) & an adjacent bund with surface water run-off bringing additional debris onto the lane.

Dumped caravan?, 5th February

Tue, 05 Feb 2013 12:28:44 +0000
51.123472738512 -3.942551398727

For the last 6 years there has been a dirty, mouldy caravan in the residents parking area, which my house looks onto, I would like to know if it is still owned or has it been abandoned ? It has not moved or been maintained in that time. If owned does the owner live in the Homer close or Furze park area, as these spaces are for residents only. I am concerned -1-as it is difficult to see the caravans tow bar, when we reverse ( as there is no lighting here), 2-we had a rat problem last year and im worried this "vehicle" will attract the unwanted wildlife again, 3.- it looks terrible, as it LITERALLY does have grass growing under it! we try and keep this area as tidy as possible, however looking at his every day is very dis-heartening. Thank you
