Large hole, approx 6 feet long and 12 inches wide., 12th March
This pothole has been here for months now, vehicles swerving around it or stopping if cars approaching the other way. Narrow lane.

Branches hanging into middle of road, tree maybe falling, 7th September
Since the weekend rains and wind this big branch complete with leaves has been hanging into the middle of the road. Tree it is attached to seems to be on the move down the hedge, definitely something has moved. there was loose branches in road this morning from hitting large vehicles. This is on Whitefield Hill.

Over grown vehatation, 21st April
Their is brambles and trees growing up to power lines and the vacation sticks out towards the road

Exit road off B3230 muddiford phonebox up to Rookabear Lane, 31st January
This stretch of road in 'pickled' with a variety of potholes, some very large in diameter, some in depth and most both. It is impossible to drive on this road without driving over these hazards. I have reported this issue before as my main concern is our CHILDREN (and others) have to walk on this road everyday to catch the school bus, there are NO FOOTPATHS and vehicles have to negotiate (often lurching quite severely in and out of these deep potholes) passing our children as they walk to the bus stop on the main road junction (B3230 Muddiford Inn)

Pavement blocked, 27th August
The pavement is blocked with sand/stone bags and pedestrians have to walk in the road to get around the problem. This is also a bus stop and next week children will be back at school and have to walk in the orad

Road sweeper request for pile of stones, 22nd June
Stones have washed down Rookbear Lane in the recent heavy rains. The stone sits on the lane and also on the B3230. I have swept the stones into a pile as vehicles were skidding to a halt and sliding the stones. The stones are now on the pavement, but the pile is quite big. Please can a sweeper come along and tidy

Large pot hole at entrance to Rook Bear Lane, 9th June
Another resident reported the pot hole issue on this road recently, but this pot hole was completely missed out from filling, although the repairs would have driven over it. The hole about 40cm x 20cm and fairly deep. It fills full of water and then people drive over it and then my car is full of muddy splashes. Please repair as soon as possible, this is a busy little road with heavy farm traffic use.

Dangerous road surface for all EX314EY residants, 12th March
With a variety of large/deep potholes, not only is it rather dangerous for us all to drive on, it is causing concern that our children have to walk up and down this road daily, with no pavement to catch the school bus, with vehicles passing them on a single tracked road (sensible courteous drivers) lurching in these deep potholes. PLEASE address this problem before a serious incident occurs! This road seems to have been forgotten in recent years?

Large Pothole, 19th February
Large pothole on LHS of lane of the B3230 heading toward Muddiford. Directly opposite the junction for the road which leads towards Shirwell.
On the attached Google Streetview image the hole is approximately opposite the first bollard. As the hole is on the brow of the small hill, it is impossible to see and avoid unless you know it is there beforehand. I can't be sure but I think it is appearing where some road digging has previously taken place.
Please rectify as soon as possible as this is a very busy stretch of road.

Very Large Pothole, 1st January
Same pothole as has opened previously on this corner. At least 12 inches in diameter this time and several inches deep. Currently full of water. Has claimed the nearside front tyre of my Sister-In-Law's car this afternoon and at least one other motorists tyre earlier today.
Please repair this as quickly as possible - and properly this time. There will no doubt be many claims submitted to the council for damage to vehicles in the coming days.

Mirror needed, 23rd April
Very sharp entry onto main road with very poor visibility of oncoming traffic.A mirror opposite the turning would help prevent an accident.
