Traffic barriers discarded next to pedestrian crossing traffic lights., 8th March
Recent (approx. 1 month ago) road works at traffic lights pedestrian crossing. Temporary barriers were used but on completion these were just dumped on the side of the road and have remained there ever since.

Mud and puddles all over the pavement where cars mounting the pavement, 28th December
Elm Grove Road ,Topsham near the cemetery. While Station road was closed a few weeks ago, the cars coming along Elm Grove road mounted the pavement and grass verge and have spread mud all over the pavement. I have tried to clear it up but cars are continuing in mounting the pavement to pass each other. can someone please come and repair the verge and somehow stop the cars doing this? I have to walk along this pavement daily and often with a pushchair and it is a dreadful mess!

Water / fluid keeps coming through tarmac, 2nd May
For many months, at least since January this year, water has been coming up through tarmac in this location. South West Water has been called out at least twice by myself and other residents, including last week. My understanding from speaking to staff investigating on site is that their tests suggest it is not a mains water leak and probably not a sewerage issue, although latter was not entirely ruled out. What the actual problem is, I don't know. Apparently SW Water responsibility doesn't go beyond these specific issues.
The problem doesn't go away during prolonged periods without rainfall, and appears to be getting worse.
Residents want this problem solved. Please escalate to appropriate level in Council, environment agency or whoever is responsible.

Blocked drain on left going towards Topsham on corner-flooding when raining, 21st December
The drain is blocked on corner and floods every time there is heavy rain causing cars to drive to other side of road to avoid flood. Very dangerous. Been reported twice before - not been attended to. Is registered on a map online though not this one. This is a dangerous hazard please unblock drain . Thank you.

Gents toilet stinks, 4th February
Now, look, chaps, I know how hard it is to keep a toilet clean, but this gents toilet here sticks of stale urine. It seems to have impregnated the grout in the tiles by the trough. It reeks.
You really ought to understand toilets, you manage and operate a lot of them. This one *looks* like a premium toilet. It smells like a third world one. It has to become better than that

Poor drainage, 9th November
Large puddles are here often due to poor drainage. The solution is probably just to dig small channels to allow the water to flow into the adjacent ditches.

Pinch-point wall parking., 8th August
Between 2 privately owned lock up garages, there is a high wall opposite the recreation ground, with an overgrown hedge above it. There are no parking restrictions alongside this wall, nor on the opposite side of the road facing it. Drivers park by the wall most of the time, and if opposite another parked vehicle, they cause obstruction to any vehicle bigger than an ordinary car. Hence, emergency and delivery vehicles, and waste disposal lorries cannot pass on very frequent occasions. This is dangerous as well as very inconvenient. The police have had to be contacted on numerous occasions to contact vehicle owners. Double yellow lines are needed for this short specific location.
