400mmL x 380mmW x 200mmD Pothole , has been previously repaired poorly. The previous works were simply to chuck a scoop of tarmac in the hole and role over it. Note: the hole has never been properly repaired, cut out, hot tar tac coat and wacker plate consolidated. Evidently there is a inherent issues with the water flow from under the road to this point where the pothole has formed.

Potholes, degradation and mud Kennerleigh Woods, 16th February
The road from Kennerleigh as far as Dowrich turn off is completely degraded with countless potholes and excessive mud on the road. It's dangerous and disgraceful. Ruins car tyres. Causes cyclists to fall off bikes. Forces cars into middle of road into oncoming traffic. It has been bad for years and is getting worse. Patching up doesn't work. It needs total resurfacing.

Series of potholes, 16th February
Last Tuesday afternoon, the tyre of Kelly Ponsford's car was punctured by these potholes. She Could not avoid them owing to poor light and oncoming traffic round the bend. There is no mobile phone so she could not phone for help. Instead she had to drive on the flat tyre to a nearby farm for help which meant that her wheel was damaged too. She was late picking up her child and for over an hour she had no way of contacting anyone. She felt frightened and now she feels furious at the expense and danger caused by terrible road surfaces. This is the second ripped tyre caused by potholes on this stretch in recent weeks. The other bad pothole is at bottom of Stones Hill about one mile closer to Sandford. Please please please do something about the road surface with the new pothole fund!

Mud and slurry between Stockleigh English and Poudhill, 15th January
Simon Nuthall has complained of excessive mud and slurry from lagoons on the road and across his property of Welland EX174DE apparently caused by actions of owner of Farm at EX174DJ. He tells me stinking mud is sprayed across his gate entrance and the length of the road surface of the lane from Stockleigh English to Poughill, making it hazardous and dangerous and unpleasant to drive. I have complained about the condition of this road in the past.

Kennerleigh. Sewage seeping on to public footpath., 10th January
Before Christmas, human effluence and soiled tissue paper oozing from a blocked drain on the public footpath between Sheraton House and Thorntree in Kennerleigh. This morning, the drain is still clearly blocked and human sewage is seeping out on to a very muddy footpath. The problem arises from the second drain located about 100m from road entrance to public footpath. This is a hazard to both humans, pets and stock animals. Please update me on action taken. Excessive mud and leaves on the stretch of lane from opposite Yelland Sign to Kennerleigh Woods., 7th November
So much mud and leaves makes road surface slippery and dangerous. Impossible to brake quickly. Contractors should clean up after themselves please.
