People dumping rubbish, 7th June

Mon, 07 Jun 2021 12:10:00 +0100
50.857405 -3.514025

Several times now people have dumped rubbish in our car park. I have cleared it all up but have a letter from the bag with the persons details on if you would like it. This is a regular problem as there are no bins in the car park. It is the car park opposite the trout Inn

88 Potholes between Tiverton (Esso Garage) and Bickleigh Bridge, 24th March

The A396 between the Esso Garage in Tiverton and Bickleigh Bridge has deteriorated very significantly over the winter. Although some exceptional potholes have been filled, it is notable how quickly the road has deteriorated in the last few weeks. To give a good account of this, my cousin and I four weeks ago counted 55 potholes on the section; last Friday we counted 88. The combination of rain and heavy vehicles would presumably account for this. You have had traffic light control on a subsided section for months and although the sign says it is being studied and monitored, nobody I am aware of has seen any work being done there at all. Given that we now have a national 'lock-down' period of at least three weeks, this would appear to be a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to resurface the whole section of road while it will cause minimal disruption. Please would you let me know what you think? I am copying this to Mr Mel Stride, MP, member for Mid-Devon.

Potholes in access to overflow car park, 26th July

Thu, 26 Jul 2012 08:06:14 +0100
50.856871919158 -3.51027384053

There are several potholes which make access to car park virtually impossible for anything but 4x4 vehicles. There is no warning of uneven surface and my car grounded as I entered. Proprietor of Bickleigh Mill told me he reported this 6 weeks ago via Devon C.C website and has not even received courtesy of response.
