There is a very lose kerb as you cross over the road. I've just got over ligament damage to my knee went for my first short walk along the canal saw plants for sale crossed the road and as I stepped on the kerb side it moved causing me pain again in my knee . Very unsafe for elderly and dog walkers this part if the town is used a lot around the canal area

Fly tipping, 26th June
There is a bag containing what appears to be oil dumped near the side entrance to Tidcombe Hall it has been there for a few weeks so the vegitation is covering it up .

This is a 20mph road because its not marked on road or post NOBODY keeps to speed limit , I have witness people traveling in access of 45mph regularly over past two years, unless speed is painted on this road and cars slowed down someone will be seriously injured

Several large potholes along this stretch, 2nd December
There are several potholes along West Manley Lane, mainly from Pool Anthony Farm to Shamel's End. The marked area being particularly bad with Potholes as well as the edge of the lane failing. During heavy rain the marked area floods and the potholes are obscured making it dangerous particularly for smaller vehicles, cyclists and children.

Overgrown vegetation covering most of footpath also silt all over footpath, 22nd September
The brambles and vegetation are so overgrown on this ancient footpath that it is barely passable. At the junction with Ford Road, where there is a Mid Devon waste bin, pictured behind the bollard, the workers who empty the bin have been forced to move it into the path and partially on the footway beyond the bollard now, in order to be able to empty it. At the bottom of the hill is a culvert and above this there are several inches of black silt, which makes walking and cycling hazardous.

3 vehicles parked all untaxed, been there for weeks., 20th September
Cars look like they have been abandoned. Also there has been 2 land rovers in B&M stores car park and a white van in Homebase's car park which have been there for ages.

Bags of rubbish behind fence, 17th November
Behind no 34 Bonville Crescent there is a footpath...over time there has been rubbish, garden waste left on the small footpath. I Have found rubbish left up against my fence which had caused so much damage that I had to have a new fence put up. I would not like a repeat. It is also very over grown in some places. Thank you.

State of road surface, 19th April
The road between Chapel close, running in front of the Methodist Chapel - which is a priority controlled section of the highway is in a dreadful state. The wearing course of the road is badly broken up and the potholes are starting to get deeper.

Access road to Homebase, Rainbow, North Devon Tyres, 2nd June
The left hand side of the access road has at least 6 potholes several inches deep and one is about 2 feet by 2 feet in surface size. Vehicles are crossing onto the right hand side to access the site and this puts them head-on into oncoming traffic.
