Water running, coming up through manholes, road and pavement surfaces are broken and dangerous to traffic and pedestrians., 15th October
This problem has been here for weeks/years. Last week part of the area was patch, but this was a waste of money and effort because there are multiples issues here, probably broken and blocked drains. After some rain last Sat the road is once again running with water, coming up through the covers and all the surface has broken up again. A very real trip hazard to pedestrians-and not a warning cone in sight! Heaven helps us when it freezes because it is the whole road and pavement surface and no way around it for pedestrians.

Road closed sign, 22nd July
There's a "Road Closed" sign for Combe Hill, that seemingly has been forgotten since work was completed 2 nights ago. Can this get removed as it's causing a lot of confusion and have had a driver slam his brakes on in front of me, confused as to where to go (wasn't local). Many thanks.

Overgrown hedging in carriageway, 28th March
I first reported this issue nearly 7 months ago, and again since. There is a private hedge overgrown a boundary wall by up to 1 metre into the carriageway on a very dangerous and narrow bend in the road. Traffic is forced into the opposite carriageway on which fast downhill traffic comes. The large farm traffic, lorries, and coaches make this bend even more of an issue. All the other hedges which were not an issue have been cut except for the one which is dangerous, which smacks of incompetency and a waste of money. And now the council has left it 7 months we are now in nesting season which means it still won't get done.

Dog fouling around Hemyock, 18th February
I've been noticing an increase in the amount of dog mess around Longmead - different types, so not just one dog. This evening I've seen some that has made me feel the need to post. There was two giant ones on the footpath going into Castle Park, from Station Road, behind the bus shelter. Not on the grass but on the footpath. Not only is this a footpath, but it's also used by children walking to and from school. Over the last few weeks I've been seeing it more all over the village footpath and grass areas around Prowses Culmbridge Road before you get to Eastlands and also around Byes), but I've never witnessed it.
