A35 surface broken, 13th November
The road surface on the A35, in front of Rose Farm and Park Farm, is completely loose, causing vibration and resulting in cracks on my property's walls. It's been there now for 3 days, and it is a trunk road. The lorries are vibrating every inch on my property. Can you please fix it as soon as you can, or I will go there and put some loose stones on the road myself!

New field entrance, 30th August
The landowner of the field to the North of the A35 has created an entrance into the field, removing a section of hedgerow in the process. No visibility splay, hence an accident waiting to happen. I am guessing that no permission was sought, or would have been granted.

Recessed storm drain cover, 7th June
Ireported this problem last year and was told the Council would contact whoever is responsible for the cover to repair and if they didn't respond, the council would repair and send a bill. This cover is towards the middle of the road (Kings Road continuing to the A35) and the noise is defeaning when the large lorries, in particular, drive past. It is almost opposite Hale Lane.

Pavement and railings need repair adj to 1 Schoolhouses, 26th February
The footpath needs urgent maintenance - it is overgrown with moss and grass and the surface is unsafe to walk on. The railings separating pedestrians from the traffic have rotten posts which need replacing. The maintenance of this footpath between Higher Gate House and 1 School Houses facing the A35 is the responsibility of National Highways not DCC.

Blocked ditch/gully/drain near Penfolds scrapyard, 16th January
The blockage has caused masses of water to overflow for weeks. It is at the top of a hill and runs downwards towards Wilmington crossing the carriageway as is does so. Colder weather conditions are going to lead to some major problems for road users. I am amazed that no-one seems to have reported it before?

Flooding, 30th December
Serious flooding across and running some distance down the road. We drove through at 9:20 this morning. Appears to be coming from a surcharging drain or burst water main on the right hand side of the road as you travel in the direction of Dorchester. Has the potential to cause an accident with vehicles travelling at speed.

Overgrown hedge blocking use of pavement, 5th July
There is a real problem in the area around "Clevedon" where overgrown hedges have resulted in less than half the pavement width being available for use by pedestrians. This is a considerable danger to pedestrians. Letters from the Parish Council have failed to bring any action. Could the HE please throw some weight behind this as someone is going to get hurt by a passing vehicle.

Noisy and dangerous manhole cover, 6th January
Manhole cover at junction is wobbly, lifting and very noisy when vehicles travel over it particularly trucks.
It has been VERY noisy since Christmas and heard within properties in Hayne Lane particularly at night

Road hedge in Ramsdenn Lane, Offwell EX14 9ry, 22nd May
This road hedge to the property The Fairings, ex14 9ry has been hanging out over for the road for a very long time and is now becoming dangerous for vehicles and pedestrians. Told the local Parish Council several months ago, but they could not see much wrong with it, has now grown considerably more since then, all the other hedges on this part of the land are tidy. There are some fairly large timbers in the hedge which can catch vehicle windscreens.
