New drain covers damaged on installation., 4th September
New drain covers were damaged when put in place by developer’s contractors. These were provided when recent roadworks were carried out. Covers have been cut through roughly 75% of cross section (it appears a disc cutter caused the damage). A heavy vehicle passing over could break the drain cover causing additional hazards to pedestrians and road users.

Severe damage to road surface, 17th February
At the end of the slip road from honiton to Ottery on the adjoining road there is a large damaged area of road where large bits of broken tarmac have come loose. Could pose a serious risk to motorcycles and bicycles and damage to car wheels.
