Several overflows from various drains even when not excess rain/water running off fields, leading to lane becoming a flast-flowing(though only knee-deep in places) river, wearing away tarmac and creating large potholes. This has been happening for at least 5+ years. Location is Chilson Lane TA202NX.

Unleveled road -raised in the middle,cracke tarmac/potholes, 31st January
Unleveled road -raised in the middles, so much so that low vehicles are touching the ground and are being scrathed and dented beneath by the rump with pebbles and small stones-cracked in some places. our regular taxi driver has refuse to pick us up from our home unless we walk down to meet him at at main road (chard road) he recently paid over £2000.00 to have his ca suspension repaired. our friend longer comes to pick us up to take us to church on sundays. another friend is coming but she has said the same soon she will have to stop. please, how much longer do the residence have to wait for the road to be repaired . we rely on our friends to takes us out and shopping too. thank you

Very deep pothole, 10th July
There is a very deep pothole on the road in this location that means you have to move onto the other side of the road for safe travel. Tourists will not know this and it could cause a major accident.

Disgusting road surface, 17th July
The new gravel dressing must have been put down using a spoon....it's like driving on corrugated iron.... Did they not have a road roller!!!!

Repaired hole is a hole again....Third failed repair, 28th January
Series or holes next to layby have opened up yet again!!!!! Maybe you should get "workers" to use Mars Bars...It might last longer???

Normal thing.....Pothole have appeared on the join between the main road and the lay by.....Why don't you fix it properly and save the tax payer £000's keep coming out patching it every 3 months!!!!!

Dangerous potholes, 23rd January
Several large and deep and situated so difficult to avoid.
Also, a couple not so severe but in neighbouring Parricks Lane. I have temporarily filled with scalpings.

Potholes, 10th April
There are deep potholes here and all along Brimley Road right up to Brimley Cross. There are others around the village of Hawkchurch and Tilworth that have been reported to the council by our Parish Council but these have been ignored. Several cars have been damaged (mine included) and if only the council would stop wasting money on having 6 crewed vehicles supporting one man measuring the central reservation on the Honiton by-pass then there would be money to repair the roads to give us a basic service.

Grating has been broken and was in the road, lots of water around and coming up out of the drain, obviously pipes are blocked.

Loads of potholes all over the road. Cycled along here on Sunday and luckily was expecting a few holes or I'd be in hospital by now, this is always a rough and wet section of road
