Dangerous verge drop, 15th February
The verge of this road (from Tipton towards Venn Ottery) has been dangerous for a long time. The drop from the road to the muddy soil is now over 15cm and when two vehicles are passing, the one on the East side of the road is in great danger of dropping into the hole and either severely damaging the vehicle or causing a collision.

Debris on road, 26th November
Massive amount of mud and leaves on road. Caused by large increase in traffic and large vehicles ripping out banks. DCC seem to shutting and cleaning roads in East Devon. Can they please do this one.

On leaving Wiggaton Ottery St Mary in a Southerly direction, just after bearing right at a junction with a lane on the near side, there is a large pothole on the near side which has been there for several weeks, difficult to avoid when meeting oncoming traffic

Bin overflowing in playground, 12th September
Bin in Newton Poppleford playground is overflowing with rubbish - wasps all round the bin and some rubbish blowing around the playground. Not sure when scheduled to be emptied but Mondays may be a good day if play area heavily used over the weekend?

Dangerous road surface, 17th January
Both sides of the road are bad but there are number of deep, large potholes that drivers cannot avoid. These need to be filled in immediately.

Grit, 24th December
Barton Orchard is steep and is icy and treacherous at the moment. As it is a cul de sac we cannot expect priority for gritting but the salt/grit bin at the corner is now empty so many elderly have not been able to leave their house for several days. Please refill ASAP

School warning flashing lights, 18th December
Quite newly installed solar powered warning lights flash at start and end of school. The lights as you approach the school from Fluxton are ok but those as you approach the school having just crossed the bridge have never or very rarely worked

Street light - flashing on and off all night, 30th July
Recently the streetlight directly outsided Number 10 Barton Orchard has started flashing on and off continuously.
