This is a perennial problem and has become more of an issue with the unusual weather. The tree branches are over grown on the lines and we have had a few broken branches fall inside the front garden. Please can these trees be trimmed back along the length of Clive Road.

Rubbish on to the Lincoln Way towards the railway side. rubbish, 21st April

Sun, 21 Apr 2024 13:56:15 +0100
51.64507 -0.056349

There is a collection of vans in various conditions of decrepit state parked on the side of Lincoln Way EN1 1TD- side of the railway tracks- and throw rather a lot of rubbish over onto the railway track and to the pavement. By raising the issue with the local councillors they got Network Rail to clear the rubbish that on the side of the rail track - which is a danger. They also cleaned the pavement. However as the culprits (who are known to the residents), keep doing this, over and over again, creating a significant need to find a solution. It is unclear what preventive action you are able to take on behalf of the residents , but we hope you will be able to do something to stop this occurring repeatedly .

Tue, 02 Apr 2024 18:30:13 +0100

This has encouraged flytipping next to abandoned bin. The owner is usually too lazy to bring it in on the same day as bin collection and has at times left it on the pavement for days. He is a tenant at 21A First Avenue. This time there is flytipping. Enforcement notice needs to be issued to him.

Missing footpath, 2nd April

Tue, 02 Apr 2024 13:27:24 +0100
51.667871 -0.088701

The footpath across Hillyfields Park ends at a dangerous bend on Phipps Hatch Road. Pedestrians (especially those with wheelchairs or pushchairs) are obliged to walk on the road and try to cross to safety on the nearest drive way. This is right at the most dangerous place on the road with poor lines of sight and often busy with traffic. THIS LOCATION IS A FATALITY ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN! The solution is to extend the tarmac footpath about 20 metres in a southwesterly direction to facilitate a safer crossing for all users.

Numerous potholes, 2nd April

Tue, 02 Apr 2024 13:16:36 +0100

The potholes cause the traffic to weave from side to side which narrows the clearance. Sooner or later, an unsighted pedestrian will get hit by a weaving car!
