Illegally parked cars, 7th May

Tue, 07 May 2024 17:15:07 +0100
51.664093 -0.080513

As has been the case for the past two and a half years the employees and clientele of The Primitive Butchers on Lancaster road are using the double yellow lines as their primary means of parking. Knowing that local residents would not dream of blatantly ignoring the laws, they are guaranteed a parking spot right outside. Of course they don’t live on Acacia Road so are not at risk of emergency services being unable to turn into the road were there ever a fire. Enfield council has farmed out parking enforcement to a private company that is only interested in getting as many easy fines as they can.

Rubbish on to the Lincoln Way towards the railway side. rubbish, 21st April

Sun, 21 Apr 2024 13:56:15 +0100
51.64507 -0.056349

There is a collection of vans in various conditions of decrepit state parked on the side of Lincoln Way EN1 1TD- side of the railway tracks- and throw rather a lot of rubbish over onto the railway track and to the pavement. By raising the issue with the local councillors they got Network Rail to clear the rubbish that on the side of the rail track - which is a danger. They also cleaned the pavement. However as the culprits (who are known to the residents), keep doing this, over and over again, creating a significant need to find a solution. It is unclear what preventive action you are able to take on behalf of the residents , but we hope you will be able to do something to stop this occurring repeatedly .
