Large pothole(recently inefficiently repaired ) south side of main street in centre of Garvald village., 10th June
Water, mud and stones (the remains of a botched up previous attempt to repair this) are being thrown up on to the pavement to the detriment of pedestrians and the possible damage to the windows of an adjacent cottage. Also the depth of this pothole could result in injury to cyclists.

Drain!, 23rd October
Blocked drain, was cleaned out a few weeks ago but is again blocked,some tar has been knocked down the drain when they sorted it a few years ago, and it keeps blocking , causing water to lie on top .

Snow drifts, 23rd March
The road between garvald and gifford via baro are bad with snow drifts and have not been gritted or the snow shifted this is an accident waiting to happen, thought this was why we paid our council tax for !

Blocked drain, 21st March
Has been emptied by the lorry but still blocked, any heavy rain or snow and the water is running down the village also causing problems for people walking down pavement.

Edge of road dangerously eroded, 7th April
Edges of narrow road from Nunraw Barns lane entrance down to Garvald village are dangerously eroded in places, particularly on the left hand side going downhill. At the moment, the resultant ditches are filled with dead leaves and debris and, consdquently, are not all that obvious. Serious damage could be caused to vehicles forced into the side by on-coming traffic, not to mention possible injury to driver and passangers.
