Pavement obstructed with sticks, stones, weeds and debris., 15th December
The pavement along the B6372 between Braidwood bridge (locally called Sandie's bridge) and the Cougar Gates (Castleton road end) requires to be cleared of fallen twigs, mud and stones from the disintegrating estate wall (unsafe?) as well as growing weeds. Currently, pedestrians have to step onto the road to avoid obstructions at a place where the road is narrow and dangerous, especially as it is being used by 35 tonne earth moving truks and large farm vehicles.
