Easthouses road could benefit with some 30mph signage, 31st March
When Easthouses Road was re-classified as a 30 zone, they removed the old 40 mph signs from the lamposts, but didn't replace them with 30's. Instead going for painted 30s on the road. As much as the painted 30 on the road should imply the speed limit is 30, often its ignored and the straight section of the road is used as a high-speed road (60+), especially by motorcyclists and those with modified vehicles speeding down the road to the junction at Lauder Road.
As much as a 30 sign might not stop the speeders on this road, it gives them little excuse if they're ever caught exceeding the residential speed limits.

Very narrow lanes, 24th February
The new road markings since this junction has been resurfaced are likely to cause problems at busy times.. heading to Dalkeith the lanes are so narrow that it’s forcing traffic turning right to the A68 onto the wrong side of the road into oncoming traffic.. the lane heading to Easthouses is huge & disproportionate for one lane of traffic.

Parking, 21st November
There is 5 parking spaces outside my house for is in the 4 block of houses. The new person whos house backs onto our street is parking upto 10 cars in our street as well as his car recovery vehicle that is usually parked up in the kerb on a corner.
The add insult, this person is 1 of only 2 people in the whole scheme that has a double driveway. This is not an option for the rest of the residents and its really unacceptable.
