Flytipping, misplaced bins, and Council-owned rubbish, 11th April

Thu, 11 Apr 2024 20:52:56 +0100
55.965586 -3.179944

Can something please be done about the utter midden that is the corner of Cambridge Avenue and Pilrig Street? There is constant flytipping here, several bins that don't belong here, bits of metal left behind by the Council, as well as those red and white crash barriers, which have been there since 2020, and have not been removed. It is a disgrace. I have been reporting problems on this corner for over 10 years now, and if anything, the problem has been getting steadily worse - the indifference shown by the Council for the maintenance of the street actively encourages people to dump rubbish there.

Potholes, 10th April

Wed, 10 Apr 2024 09:08:50 +0100
55.961997 -3.194119

All the way along Bellevue Terrace and Claremont Bank there are potholes and hollows in the road all the way along these streets. Please arrange for an inspection of these roads. Also, these roads need to be resurfaced as the quick fix throw in a blob of tarmac approach that has been used over recent years has turned these streets into a total mess, eyesore, and an endurance test to drive along!

Dropped kerb inaccessible for wheelchair users, 7th April

Sun, 07 Apr 2024 17:42:13 +0100
55.94791 -3.183596

Dropped kerb is impossible to get over in a wheelchair, forcing wheelchair users to go into the road on the cobbles until the next dropped curb, which is at an angle that can only be approached by going into the road in front of oncoming traffic. Completely unsafe and seems to have never been tested by an actual wheelchair user or thought through in any manner.
