Double parking, 4th January
The white car belongs to a neighbour and she regularily double parks and blocks other vehicles in. Today it is my vehicle. She lives at lumley terrace. This has been ongoing for the 3 years I have lived here and she has been blocking me in for a few hours today.

Litter along hard shoulder and onto slip road, 11th November
On the slip road along the A1 and down to the A167, the litter is awful! This road was supposed to be picked in October as you told me several times, and yet hasn't been touched! There are piles of pipes, loads of rubbish and it is old and just ignored.

Illegal parking blocking road and drive (opposite drop curb drive way), 28th September
This van frequently causes issues for all residents. There is work being undertaken by Virgin Media, this means parking is more tricky than normal... however dumping your big van illegally opposite a droppee curb council tax residential drive.

Horrible Road Surface ON A1M from Here to J62, 1st August
The road surface is very smooth then it goes to the horrible loud road surface and its louder the concrete please redo this road surface up to Junction 62 when your going to Durham the road surface is smooth to loud and repeats its and its getting annoying

Light unit no longer facing traffic, 24th July
Full traffic light unit has swivelled on its mounting pivot and is no longer facing the traffic approaching the roundabout from Blind Lane. The unit affected is reported to be "on" the roundabout. No information as to how long this has been affected.

Replace the barrier from here to (J63) up to (J65- J64), 28th June
This dangerous barrier is really thin and it could risk someone crashing through this is very dangerous and it needs replacing. its just like a piece of string and small bits of rusted metal for the stands. This Need changed into a concrete barrier Please National Highways this is the busiest areas of the A1(M) so replace the barrier from here to (J63) up to (J65- J64)

Adding A Concrete Step Barrier From Junction 63 to Junction 65,, 17th June
So I don't know why there this really thin plastic barrier placed here its very dangerous because you can crash through it so upgrade it to a Concrete Step Barrier and drainage will be added through here. from this pinned point to Junction 65, (Birtley,)

Hi, another grot spot on the grotty A1 that hasn't been cleared for several months. Drive past same rubbish everyday. On the bank between the A1 and the off slip for CLS. Any plans? your moto is to keep the motorways predominantly litter free.

The traffic light sign is put infront of 2 driveways . When lights are on red the traffic will be blocking both driveways .. my husband will be pulling trailer and if the drive is blocked he won't be able to get onto drive this will cause total blockage on road !! Surely common sense is ruled out !!!

Smashed bus stop, 1st May
Bus stop has been crashed into, no vehicles present but there is glass all over the road, will cause an accident if not cleaned as people sudden breaking as approaching or swerving onto oncoming traffic

Terrible timings, 4th November
Lights only remain on green for 6 seconds. It's causing chaos on the sliproad and A1M due to the build up of traffic. Long traffic delays. This started on the 1st November.
