This canpervan is parked at the end of the street on a junction, making it extremely dangerous for people to enter or exit the street. It obstructs the junction and is an accident waiting to happen. It has been parked here for weeks now.

Footpath parking, 17th June
People are car parking on footpath which cause so many time cause trouble for disable people with wheelchair and for baby stroller they cant pass from there they not parking on suitable place. so many time spoke with owner he say none of your business to we can park here we don't care about anyone we had issue so many time parking tickets we ignore. its happening every day all loading bay full with cars and parking on footpaths no one following the rules about parking in Birtley it so hard tom tell everyone so many time instead of moving car they start arguments

Potholes at least 15cm deep, 11th May
Potholes at least 15cm deep which cause the car to jolt violently when going over then and unavoidable if there is oncoming traffic (which is common on this road). Needs to be fixed asap.
Coming from moor mill lane heading towards Ouston it is over the hill and just before the first bend in the road.

Light bulbs are broken in the lights on both sides of the bridge. The lights sensors also don’t work and make you wait regardless of whether there is traffic on the other side.

Still on timers, 21st November
Traffic lights still on timers instead of sensors from when there was road works. Making you sit and wait for no reason when there's no traffic on the other side. Annoying as the road is only 1 way at a time since it was narrowed

Dangerous parking, 15th November
Dangerous parking and driving around barley mow primary school entrances. Parking directly on junctions, driving along pathways while children and parents are walking, children unable to cross safely due to the amount of cars parked on both sides of the road, cars not meeting speed limit.
