Potholes due to excessive water, 7th February
This section of road has run with water constantly for the last few months. Its almost like a burst water main or blocked drains. In the cold snap a couple of weeks past the potholes have doubled in size due to actual ice bergs forming in the road way.

Road damaged by truck, 26th May
On 24 May a large blue artic (delivering plasterboard to a building site in the village) caused damage to the road surface in attempting to navigate the junction of Throughgate and Main St, some of which is shown in the photo. This truck really had no business trying to get along Throughgate.
