Huge entrances to hell, no normal pothole, 25th December
Have just spent the best part of 6 hours on Christmas day dealing with an altercation with these handful of entrances to the abyss beneath. Front drivers side alloy wheel buckled, drop links as bent to smitherines plus a nice big inch tear through the tyre. Hard to believe these haven't been reported already so will spend the next few days researching to put in a claim. Ridiculous state

Fiat Punto abandoned, 7th December
This car has been abandoned at the parking spaces behind the Spar with a window open for months , next to the garages.

Collapsed Drain, 10th November
Drain collapsed years ago and large pothole on side of road next to pavement. As drain is completely blocked, flooding is a very regular occurrence. The pothole is a danger to the public and road users as it cannot be seen when and will cause serious damage to car tyres and alloy wheels

Drainpipe attached to garages ripped off by vandals, 14th September
For by no means the first time the drainpipe that takes rainwater off the back of DGHP garages has been torn off and broken up by yobs. This means the back of the garages will get even more damp and the ground will get wet. Frequently local children climb on the garages which are by no means safe and some kid will fall off some day and it needs barbed wire round it .

Road surface delaminating across carriageway, 22nd April
This was reported months ago, and not so much as a patch job has been done. The road surface on the Dumfries bound exit is rutted and delaminating, the ruts are across the entire width of the Dumfries bound carriage way, and people keep swerving all over the road trying to avoid them. This is needing repaired as a priority as it is DANGEROUS and going to cause an accident sooner or later, it cannot wait for regular maintenance schedules. Fix it now, please.

Numerous pothokes at the entrance to Akers Avenue, 6th March
I reported 2 potholes to Dumfries and Galloway Council at the beginning of July 2021. They still arent fixed and there are now more potholes and bigger ones at that. You cant avoid them when turning left into the street unless you go onto opposite side of road.

Huge pothole, 26th February
Huge pothole as you exit the roundabout heading towards Dumfries. Impossible to avoid at it has widened so one wheel always hits the hole.
