Potholes have been an issue in this stretch of road for months. I’ve lost count the amount there is. When it’s dark and wet you don’t see them and end up in them. Huge entrances to hell, no normal pothole, 25th December
Have just spent the best part of 6 hours on Christmas day dealing with an altercation with these handful of entrances to the abyss beneath. Front drivers side alloy wheel buckled, drop links as bent to smitherines plus a nice big inch tear through the tyre. Hard to believe these haven't been reported already so will spend the next few days researching to put in a claim. Ridiculous state

Signage base thrown over wall, 25th November
Whenever there is traffic works here, no one checks that all the signs and boards are collected or thinks to look over the wall - there are always some thrown over! This looks like the base off a sign or barrier. Fairly straightforward to recover and take it back to the depot.
There is always litter thrown over as well (the council still hasn't put a bin where the river path comes up at the Lovers Walk lights.) Thanks.

Massive pot hole, 4th October
You could lose a child in it. Been there for months and just grows. At least 4 inches deep and over a foot in diameter. To be honest the whole road is an abomination and needs relayed but your not going to bother doing that. The last time someone came to fill them they turned up in a wagon full of cold tar chucked some in and drove over them a couple of times instead of tamping them properly. Get it sorted!
