Wheel damaging potholes, 25th April
This whole road is a nightmare for potholes, but as you go under the trees here there are a series of very bad, even for D&G, potholes in the road. Can these get emergency patched, please, and the whole road all the way to Annan scheduled for resurfacing ASAP. Thank you.

Missing metal covers, 8th October
On the pavement just before you get to Somerton House Hotel, walking out of Lockerbie, at the house with the white garden gate, opposite side of the road to Trinity House, there are two wee metal grates in the pavement. Or there should be, one of them is missing, leaving a hole in the pavement, and the other one is cracked and damaged so it might not be long before it is gone too. Needs replaced. The one that is gone has left a hole in the pavement just the right size to have someone's walking stick or crutch go in too.

Overgrown grass verge, 22nd May
Grass verge has only been cut upto the 30mph sign. It looks horrendous, ground elder is growing through into my garden, which I have spent hours trying to dig out. It it is now starting to seed on the grass verge. This needs to be cut and also some sort of treatment to get rid of the ground elder.

Two old road patches coming up in chunks, 9th April
Just either side of the end of speed limit sign as you are leaving Lockerbie are two old road patches which are coming up in chunks. One of them has a very sharp edge to it so it is danger to tyres and suspensions. The road needs to be resurfaced properly, not just patched.

Road from marker to Kettleholm is uneven with bad road surface and potholes, 18th December
This whole road from marker is a issue for larger vehicles, road surface is uneven and causes coaches to be pulled into edge resulting in the driver having to drive almost in middle of road to keep away from holes and unevenness. Also a school route

Several potholes getting worse, 9th April
Stones from this and a collection of other potholes, all within about 10 feet, are being thrown up. This is now not only a danger to cars and cyclists but to pedestrians as well and needs urgent renovation.

Old patch eroding/subsiding, 13th September
There is a patch on the main road right on the apex of the corner on the way into town in front of the big house where an old roadworks patch was put in a while back. This patch is now noticeably subsiding and eroding out. It needs redone really quite urgently too as the big lorries are now thumping down into it.

Two Street Lamps out., 29th October
There is two lights out at the side of the Kings Arms Hotel Lockerbie at the start of Victoria Road. Although the lights are attached to the side of the building they are Council lights not the Hotel. This is a uneven road and very dark when the lights are not working, very dangerous when walking at night or early morning.

Road works previously carried out with a trench across the whole carriageway is degrading. Not only is the previous works/repair sinking, potholes are forming as the repair degrades further.
