FIXMYSTREET IN DY4 0DQ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of DY4 0DQ:
Speed hump layout, 7th May
There needs to be a fundamental change to speed calming measures on this section of the road.
The speed hump here is practically non-existent, as well as its location being ill thought out. To have it right next to a bus stop, which causes traffic to back up and cut off access to oncoming traffic being able to turn right onto Wesley Street is just illogical. It would be much better to move it further down, a little past Peter Avenue, and move the one on Rose Street back towards Bradley Lane or remove it altogether. At the very least the Speed hump on Rose Street needs to have the direction of the give way rule swapped because some vehicles do speed around that bend, and if you are heading towards Peter Avenue from the direction Bradley Lane, you do end up having to swerve to get out of the way.

Speeding vehicles and motorcycles, 7th May
This has been reported a few times in the past by myself as well as other residents living along Wilkinson Avenue.
There are some people who are essentially using this road as their own personal racetrack. They are speeding up and down this road fairly regularly, often ignoring the give way signs for sections of road which have been narrowed to make the speed bumps more effective.
None of the restrictions are working and these people are being antisocial in their behaviour, as well as being a danger to the public at large.

Rubbish and lack of maintenance of flower bed, 12th April
As pictured, this flower bed is an absolute mess. I used to look after it seeing as the council decided that they couldn't afford to, which smacks of hypocrisy considering the Rocket Pool area does get some love in areas and this area seems to be neglected.
When i first moved here the flower bed looked great. But over time it was maintained less and less to the point it looks like it does today. Right now this area is being used as a makeshift bin. The amount of rubbish thrown in here makes the area look unkempt and, for want of a better description, a sh#thole.
I have tried to keep on top of it as best as I can but with both my work and activities I participate in daily, I am unable to do it by myself. I have planted some perennials in the bed but because of the poor quality it soil and the damage from rubbish always being thrown in there, I believ only one of those plants (pictured at the bottom right) has survived.

Pothole on the junction when entering onto Bradley Lane., 15th March
There is a particularly nasty pothole right as you turn into Bradley Lane from Great Bridge Road. What makes this nasty is as you are turning, your offside wheel hits the pothole, which you don't realise is there until it is too late and in turn, causes your vehicle to hop.
