Deep Pothole Eastbound A35, 2nd January
Hit yet another pothole on the A35 in Raymonds Hill last night, Eastbound on the A35. I don't have the exact location as my dashcam SD card became corrupted.
I lost count how many potholes I either hit or narrowly avoided in both directions on the A35 in the dark last night. I suggest you send one of those camera road surface survey vehicles from Honiton to Dorchester in both directions. Other people are reporting damage to their vehicles on this stretch of the A35.

Dangerous road layout, 1st August
Going east on the A35 the dual carriageway after Axminster ends just over a blind hill with the right hand turning to Lyme Regis not visible until over the hill. I have seen a number of incidents where people try and overtake and then get into trouble as cars slow down to turn right. Can I suggest you look at moving the filter to one lane before the hill as I think that would remove the damger?

Near impossible visibility at crossroads, 30th June
Approaching Harcombe Road from Red lane South, it is impossible to see if traffic is coming along Harcombe Road before crossing it. You have to drive right into the road before being able to see, by which time it's too late if a car or tractor is coming up Harcombe. Dangerous! Needs cutting back asap.

Crossroads at Red Lane/ Green Lane blocked visibility, 29th June
An accident waiting to happen. This is a dangerous junction at the best of times but not it is very difficult to see right when trying to enter the A35 from Red Lane. Cars come along there way too fast ( another story...) but now the vegetation has grown so much, it's almost impossible to see what's coming from the East.

Footpath in awful condition and blocked at places., 10th July
The footpath on the map is unnavigable at many points, as much of the mid-section of the path is completely overgrown. Also, gates specifically for public use have been padlocked or had fences erected in front of them, presumably by the farmers who own the land this right of way passes through, rendering them very hard to pass - and impossible to do so with a dog. Signs along the route also appear to have been removed or desecrated, making it very difficult to determine where the actual footpath is.

Poor road surface at junction, 16th June
This junction of Red Lane and the A35 is terrible. The junction is covered in pot holes making exiting the junction very tricky. It's bad enough because cars come from both directions much faster than the speed limit. It's a case of taking your chances. It would be helped enormously by a smoother road surface, in my opinion.

Green Lane used as "Rat Run", 17th September
Although the traffic count is in place with plans to rectify the Hunters Lodge junction, I am sure that it has not been taken into consideration that Green Lane is being used as a "rat run". When we moved here 11 years ago it was an exceedingly quiet single track with only an occasional vehicle driving through. Now the traffic has considerably increased and this can be seen by how the road is in disrepair, breaking away from the edges by making enforced passing places. It is also very dangerous to walk along as the cars are usually speeding through.

Large pothole - B3165, 10th March
Where B3165 narrows just up from the junction with A35 at Raymond's Hill, a large pothole is situated on southbound carriageway. Because the road narrows, it is very difficult to avoid if vehicles are turning from the A35. It has been there Jan/Feb and now March and getting deeper.
