Double parking, blocking pavement & cycle lane, 14th October
Every school day without fail, parents of wey valley students will double park along dorchester road, blocking pavements and the cycle lanes.
The school has a dedicated drive-thru system for vehicle pick-ups to be made, I don't see why they need to illegally park for up to 30 mins each day on dorchester road

Potholes and deterioration of road, 7th September
This has slowly deteriorated over 5 years and lately has been increasing in size considerably. As the area is in a cul-de sac near a school the traffic when dropping of kids is accelerating the condition.
In a addition the general state of court road and broadlands road seems to be in a poor state.

1 x caravan and at least 2 vehicles blocking a turning area for Col-De-Sac, 31st October
Owners of property tucked in corner daily obstructing an area that is a turning area for the Cul-De Sac. Each of us have garages, 2 out of three properties have driveways for 2 vehicles. The owners of the property directly in the turning area have recently parked a caravan directly in front of their garage and regularly park their vehicles in front of the caravan so are at least 2 deep if not 3 deep when they have their visitors meaning that other vehicles cannot turn around in the area and have to exit passing the entrance to the Cul-De-Sac reversing meaning that their vision is restricted.

The tarmac is splitting and the carriageway appears to be subsiding into the river., 13th January
Hello, my family owns the riverbank alongside the road and it is very steep in some places. Where people have been pulling in and parking they have pushed the hedge towards the river. If you look over the hedge you will see that the steep riverbank is about to be over-topped particularly opposite Beech house and The Orchard. The council have patched the edge of the road and widened the carriageway into our land. I would like kerb stones to be put in to protect the bank and to re-establish the highway boundary please. The drystone wall which retains the bank is not robust enough to support the river bank indefinitely. I first raised this issue 4 years ago when I contacted the road safety dept to point out that the speed cushions are ineffective and cause people to drive into the kerb as they pass over them

There WAS a workman in the area a few days ago who filled in two potholes and left the rest. The remaining potholes urgently need attention, As there are no pavements, pedestrians are also in danger of injury.
