Parking cones stopping people parking, 16th February
For the last YEAR a section of public road has had cones put in it by DJ Property to stop people parking there. There is barely any parking on the road anyway without DJ Property taking the law into their own hands and causing further restrictions.

In need of a zebra crossing, 9th August
This road is a 30mph road. The playpark is right against the road with children regularly crossing the road. There is also direct access behind the park to the local school so many children cross this road by thereself or little ones with parents. Some sort of pedestrian crossing would make a huge difference to the children's safety here and other pedestrians alike

Dangerous pulling out of Courage Way onto Chickerell Road due to no road signs, 23rd July
Drivers (increased number due to significant housing development) barely stop at the give way point to enter Chickerell Road. They look right and then pull out. I live on Chickerell Road and their pulling out, without looking left (without looking both ways) has led to my vehicle as I exit my drive being almost driven into several times. To be clear, they just come out expecting no vehicle to be there, don't look left and then am surprised by a car! I have had obscenities shouted at me, rude gestures and several near misses. Just because I am exiting my drive. I cannot see around corners and when I look right they are not there. But as they don't stop at the junction - they pull out and almost crash into me. This is causing my whole family distress. There needs to be road signage reminding drivers to look both ways. This cannot carry on.

Hedge blocking footway, 30th June
The hedge is opposite Tidemoor farmhouse, it has not been maintained, it has grown into the footway and blocks the path for the many users of this route, people have skirted round it onto the grass verge which has now worn away. This is a constant problem and the owners rarely cut it back.

Substandard Works, 3rd March
Recent works in this vicinity (possibly by an Openreach contractor, I cant be sure) have been shoddy in my opinion. I have attached a photo as an example of a repair to an opening made in the highway. The edges of the hole have not been sealed and the material put in as blacktop looks unfit for purpose. From that I'd expect the backfill compaction to also be poor and this to develop into a pothole. Further, the repair to the white lining looks like it was put on with a chalk pen, it definitely does not comply with any highway material standard. In my opinion the hole needs to be re-opened repaired properly and surfaced with suitable materials in a skilled way by credible contractors and not like this.

Overgrown trees and vegetation, 8th August
This cycle route is becoming overgrown with trees and bushes, vegetation is also beginning to cover the path near the eastern end. Tree branches are a hazard to cyclists and can whack people on the head and face when least expected. please can hard vegetation be cut back.. the section outside the echo building is also very bad with significant branches obstructing the route. at this time of year lots of people are cycling, it would be good if the route was safe from overhanging branches.. which will also shed leaves onto the path and make it slippy in the autumn.

Loose board on footpath stile, 8th April
The foot boards for the stile have come loose (over the past week or so) and need to be anchored down, as they are proving to be quite dangerous when walking on them. Please... could someone take a look, I think it needs something more substantial than nails as they seem to come loose at this location regularly. Thank you

Bollards missing vegetation overhanging, vehicles in conflict with pedestrians., 12th December
This quiet road is a key route for children to walk between Chickerell and Budmouth College. It looks like an increase in traffic in the area maybe linked to nearby building is smashing away the bollards which gave some protection to children from vehicles and and which did act to slow vehicles. Please can the bollards be replaced with something more robust, and can the white lines be repainted. I note also the vegetation is overhanging the route, please ask the landowner to cut the vegetation back.

Path between Radipole Lane and road servingBob Lucas Stadium, 2nd December
One of the streetlights illuminating this path is out of order. The lights are also obscured by foliage of trees in Dorset Police Western Divisionsl HQ. Very often there is a buildup of leaves on the path making it very slippery. NB this path is used by hundreds of people attending home matches of Weymouth FC at the Bob Lucas Stadium - and very often after dark at this time of year. This is not the first time I have reported these problems but the upkeep of this important passageway is continually neglected.

Road surface failure, 4th September
This surface failure was filled last year, but it's starting to deteriorate again, I think the embankment could be settling too which is causing cracks to open up in the footway, causing signs to lean and the road to rut.

Flood lighting from Wessex golf club shining into windows all evening and into the early hours of the morning (2am), 3rd June
The flood lights are left on even when the club is supposed to close around 9 or 10pm and this causes the row of houses which it overlooks (directly across the adjacent field) at Greys Field estate to be permanently lit up!
