Yesterday I smashed my tyre in a large pothole in the middle of the carriageway opposite the Coach and Horses Pub in Winterbourne Abbas. I had to replace the tyre immediately costing £69 at the garage behind the Esso Station. Highly dangerous.

Rubbish along the A35, 26th February
There is rubbish strewn along the verges of the A35 from Monkeys Jump roundabout to Winterbourne Abbas. This has clearly come off the back off and unsecured load of a refuse truck. It is a blight on our once beautiful Dorset countryside.

Road surface failing, 27th January
Unsafe road surface now east and west bound, numerous pot holes. Any attempt to fix is also failing and being thrown into moving traffic and causing damage to vehicles and property. Would suggest a speed restriction if this is not going to be fixed.

Multi dangerous very deep potholes, 23rd January
Multi potholes that are extremely deep and causing damage to vehicles as well as dangerous driving of people trying to avoid them. I have had to replace a tyre on my car and my colleague hit one this morning on their motorbike which could have had fatal outcomes.

Potholes, 7th January
Reported a over week ago and still nothing has been done, many large holes all over this stretch of the road from McDonald's to Batts Road, has now caused damage to my car causing the driver's wheel to shake, its just not good enough on such a busy road.

Flooding, 3rd November
Large area of standing water collecting, cannot be seen in the dark, making it dangerous even if driving at speeds less than 60. There has been a drain issue here for well over a year which adds to the problem. I have seen that you are aware of the drain issue yet you still haven’t fixed it. Please do so before someone has a serious accident

Motorists are pulling into the layby on the A35 (westbound) just past monkeys jump roundabout to enable them to cross back over onto the A35 east bound carriageway to get back to the roundabout because they have missed their turning. Other motorists heading either west bound or east bound are not expecting them to do this maneuver. It is quite un unnerving to see this happen Is it possible to advise motorists against doing this Also what is slightly more unnerving is when motorists pull onto the graveled area before the layby and tun back towards the roundabout as other motorists ate picking up speed as the exit the roundabout Thank you

Collection of potholes various sizes, west bound carriageway after the Tilly Whim lane and Bats lane cross road, 27th June
This collection of potholes has been in this location for several months, they are on the west bound carriage just as you go under the tree canopy, they are near the white line on the drivers side and difficult to see due to the shade from the trees

Lane closure causing unacceptable delays, 31st October
It was mid afternoon on Saturday 30 October. I was heading east towards Dorchester on the A35. A short section of road was reduced to one lane under traffic light control. There was heavy traffic from the west as people returned after the half term holiday. There was a delay of 20-25 minutes. There was minimal traffic in the other direction and no delays. On our side only about 15 cars got through before the lights changed. No one was working on the road and the carriageways were intact. This was a totally unnecessary closure at an inconvenient time. Also even if closure of the road was necessary the phasing of the lights was completely wrong.

Blocked drain on A35 outside West Lodge leading to flooding of properties and excessive run-off down the adjacent track causing substantial damage., 2nd October
This drain has been blocked for some time. Residents of the private track leading from it will be able to keep the surface clear if there is drainage below. Thanks.
