Manhole sides are cracking and falling away on main road., 14th December
Manhole is loose fitting and any vehicle travelling over the manhole makes a very loud noise. As it is a very busy road the noise is untenable and requires urgent repair. As stated above, the sides of the manhole are cracking and starting to fall in. This problem has been reported by other residents. The problem has been there for several months but nothing has happened. Very large lorries go through the village and before long there will be an accident.

Broadmayne break-up, 29th August
The shoddy repairs on most of the main street in Broadmayne are beginning to break up and, I would suggest, need attention now or in the near future. The area described is the left hand lane towards Dorchester and are the result, I believe, of failed supervision - by the county council - of "cowboy" contractors.

This problem is a long-standing example of so-called water board repairs. There is a huge lip causing vehicles to be plunged into oncoming traffic.
