The A35 is littered from the Kingston maurward roundabout near Dorchester through to bere Regis - both sides of the road, 7th March
The amount of litter both sides of the A35 is disgraceful. It is an ongoing issue & a disgrace to what is supposed to be an area if outstanding beauty. I am not just a moaner but organise regular village litter picks. The A31 from bere Regis to corfe mullen is also dreadful. It is sad to see that much of the litter is old highways stuff - eisel frames for signs, sandbags, traffic cones. It should be accepted policy that any working party ensures the area is left litter free.

In the area of this location-East Bound carriageway is a previous section of road repair, in the centre of this previous repair the centre area has sunk causing a substantial dip in the East Bound carriageway. There was a sink hole near the end of the dual carriageway-West Bound numerous months ago that needing repair.

Deer carcass on highway, 16th October
Deer carcass is in the centre of the two lanes on eastbound carriageway somewhere between Stinsford turnoff and turnoff for B3390. Quite a mess across the road, large carcass could cause an accident as it is not off to the side.

There is flooding on the corner. Have not gone here much so I do not know how long it has been here for.

Ecochannel at junction of gravel track The top grid of the ecochannel at the junction of the gravel track and highway is currently blocked with gravel and silt. This means that runoff can flow onto the highway over the grid causing potholing. If strong spring flow down the track occurs later in the winter this can lead to icing of the road over a long distance if very cold weather occurs. This problem was reported last year at this time and the council tried to clean it on two occasions, firstly using a jetter and then using a brush lorry. Both failed. Could the problem be addressed once more?l d, 21st October
The grid of the ecochannel has been blocked since last autumn. Fortunately no prolonged very cold weather occurred last winter so it didnt cause much highway icing from spring flow Now is the time to tackle the issue again. currently track runoff is passing over it onto the highway and causing potholing. The council tried to clean the grid twice last winter using two different approaches but neither was successful.

Potholes/poor state of road particularly at edges, 17th July
Potholes, has been there for some time but is getting progressively worse. Most are manageable and shouldnt adversly affect a car (maybe a motorbike though) one has opened up quite a bit though.This is at the top of the hill from the woods leading to the village of affpuddle

Street light continuously ON, 11th June
The street light has been on continuously since Monday morning after it was noticed that some work had been carried out. This seems a waste of electricity when we have been led to believe that the street lights thru Tolpuddle would be turned off at night to conserve power.
