Cars eroding verge, 8th April
The section of grass verge outside Hornbeam House is gradually being eroded due to cars mounting the verge. The road narrows in The Hollow and rather than accepting alternate lines of traffic, vehicle drivers try to squeeze past by mounting the verge. In addition during popular events at the village hall drivers park up on the verge.
Running a kerb along this section would help to discourage this behaviour and provide a retaining barrier to prevent further erosion of the verge.
