Degeneration of road surface, 20th February
Apart from several potholes along this stretch of Shillingstone Lane,approaching Okeford Fitzpaine, the whole road surface seems to be breaking down - driving along it is worse than going over a cattle grid! The recent bad weather has accelerated the deterioration. The Lane also has problems at it's other end, approaching Shillingstone, where there are several potholes extending across the road surface.

Potholes & Blocked Culverts, 5th February
There are numerous potholes of varyiing depth on several locations on Shillingstone Lane.I have pointed same out to council workmen who were sent to repair certain potholes at the Shiillingstone end of the lane. even these repaired potholes are now showing signes of fiurther damage. Ongoing damage is to some degree being caused by water being diverted on to the road by blocked culverts.

Whilst walking my og i tripped on a very uneven surface on a hard stand to the rear of vale terrace on inspection the ridge is app 2 inches maybe i should claim as i grazed my hands id rather the councl upkeep this area.
