Significant overgrowth of vegetation, 2nd June
There is a 4 foot overgrowth of vegetation along brethergate at the point noted. This has been reported on several occasions and declined to be treated by the NLCouncil, there is not enough room as you can clearly see on the images for an adult to walk along the path, let alone a puschair or adult with child. This is the only footpath along that length of road as the other side is housing with no path. This is forcing people to be on the road on the brow of a hill where cars coming cannot be seen. Someone will be injured if this is not sorted. This has been a worsening problem for the last 6 weeks and nobody has attended to it despite multiple reports by myself, partner and other members of the village.

Damaged Barrier, 21st January
The barrier along Sanderson's Bank near the junction of Idle Bank was damaged I think about a year ago maybe? By an artic that went off the road. Any chance this can be repaired any time soon? Apart from the plastic safety barriers that have been left behind, there is quite a gap here where the barrier has been bent away from the road, I wouldn't want to hit it in a car, especially something small or low. You'd probably end up in the ditch anyway, and the ditches are DEEP out here!
