People driving over the park ploughing up the grass, 21st October
I have lived on the park at woodlands for 12 years and have recently seen more and more instances of people driving over the grass (at speed) apart from ripping the turf up this is potentially very dangerous in view of the many people who walk dogs it can only be a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt. it would be quite a simple problem to sort if some low wooden fencing was erected on the southern corner where people turn onto from the great north road

People driving over the park[grassed area] turning it into a muddy eyesore, 20th October
I have lived on the park for 10 years and have always been proud of it and very much admired and appreciated how the council has looked after it, ie keeping it reguarly cut. the park is a big asset to our community,it would be a crying shame to let it be ruined. cannot some sort of barrier be installed to stop people taking a short cut across and ripping up the turf? it would only need to be on the eastern end ie entrance from great north road.

Damaged telegraph wire, un acceptable rubbish outside 140, constant gangs etc, 16th July
A pair of trainers (tied together at the laces) have been thrown over the telephone lines outside number 140 the crescent DN67NU , as they are constant drug dealers, and they have been hanging there for some time without the council removing them. This is also equivalent to flytipping. PLEASE can these be removed AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. It makes the entrance to this area looks unkempt and gives the impression the residents do not care and this is definitely NOT the case. As soon as this horrible family are moved on this area will once again flourish in peace,,

Central reservation desperate for grass cutting, 19th May
The central reservation on the Great North Road at woodlands / adwick Le street goes months without being grass being cut. Further down this road towards town at Scawthorpe the grass is cut more frequently keeping the area looking tidy and maintained encouraging the community to do the same. Both stretches of carriageway are 50mph and dual carriageway, there is no reason why one section should be maintained and another not. I have previously reported this to DMBC last year when we had the same issue. The grass is well in excess of a foot high and over two feet in parts causing rubbish to gather. Please help keep the area tidy by maintaining the grass on these highways.
