A160 killingholme, 13th November
This set of traffic lights cannot detect traffic, so has gone to default timings. Induction loops are of no use at this location as the road surface wears out so quickly with constant 44 tonne trucks leaving docks and refineries. Is it technically possible to use infra red detectors rather than induction.

No directional markings on road leading to roundabout. You've replied to previous complaint but this needs attention urgently not when the A160 scheme becomes active. Without markings my insurers recommend me claiming from yourselves.

There is no directional arrow road markings at all., 25th September
Good morning, I spoke to someone last week who took details from me and I've been waiting on a call back . The A160 Humber Road heading east towards immingham from Killingholme as it approaches Manby road Roundabout this is a dual carriageway, At the roundabout there are 2 exits not including coming back onto the A160 west bound.
I have been involved in an accident last month where a HGV turned off the A160 towards Humber sea terminal from the right hand lane of the roundabout, His insurers are claiming as there are no road (painted arrows) markings on approach to Manby road roundabout there is no clear signage to say he cannot exit at the 1st exit from the right lane. (although only a clearly mad driver would do such a thing) Since then I have witnessed 2 more accidents and had another near miss.
Please can you look at getting some directional arrows painted onto the road on the approach to this island east bound as both lanes leading on to the island are used to exit onto the A1173 (immingham) and people are using the right lane on entry to bear left onto Humber road towards Humber Sea Terminal.
I have spoken to the Dvsa at the station on the roundabout there and they agree it is a dangerous roundabout with the amount of heavy goods traffic that use it. They have also had vehicles rush past them when travelling the left lane to enter their station and turn in front of them towards the ports.
It would just give clear guidance especially to European drivers that struggle to negotiate roundabouts at the best of times. I would suggest a straight on and turn left arrow in the near side lane and a straight on turn right in the right lane this would make it very clear that both lanes can be used to exit onto the A1173 and only the left lane can be used to access the dock, stopping any further accident or injuries.
I would really like to hear your thoughts on this as it is a very dangerous and fast roundabout at present.
Please find attached the entry onto the roundabout image showing no road markings at all.

Requires road markings on road, 9th April
This road has no road marking on the roads for lane guidance and it is extremely dangerous as there are many left hand drive lorries in the area using the left hand lane to attempt a right had turn at the roundabout. Marking on the road to dictate which direction you can travel in each lane will be much appreciated by road users.
