B1205, 10th January
You’re closing the road, again! This road has been closed during the week for long periods to accommodate bridge works and the water pipe crossing at brandy wharf. These Work’a should be better coordinated or traffic management in place to keep roads open. I appreciate this isn’t always easy but the alternative routes double our journey time on narrow roads which are treacherous This time of year. Perhaps you might pay our travel expenses due to the inconvenience and cost throughout the past 16 months work.

Junction in front of Clock House Farm, 8th January
There are multiple large, deep potholes at the junction as you turn right onto the B1205. The road has significantly deteriorated in this area and is now a danger to vehicles.
The previously reported problem (ref: 485447) only shows a wide a view of the area to help you locate the area. It does not show the exact problems as it requires an in-person visit to appreciate the scale of the problem due to there being many large potholes over an extended area. Please visit in person before assessing whether work needs to be conducted.

EXISTING pavement next to Common Lane Bridge, 8th January
The previous report (Council ref: 485450) was incorrectly closed.
This is NOT a request to add a new pavement. This is a request to clear the mud from the EXISTING pavement.
There is a perfectly good path buried under several inches of thick mud, caused from farm vehicles driving over the pavement.
We request that the EXISTING path is cleared to make it safe to use. There is around 20-30m of existing laid concrete path under the mud.
By making the path unusable you are forcing pedestrians onto the 60mph road used by several heavy goods vehicles on a bend. This is extremely dangerous.
Additionally, as there is a perfectly good path underneath all the mud, you would be held responsible for any injuries or deaths caused by it being unusable due to your refusal to adequately maintain the path. This is despite regular reports of its constantly deteriorating condition over the previous 12 months. Please also see report (Ref: 462630) for evidence of this.
You have previously lied about work being completed on this path. Providing photographic 'evidence' that did not show the correct location AND was taken several months previously (clear from the leaves on the tree).
We politely request that this matter is treated with the urgency it deserves after 12 months of chasing up the issue. Please make the existing footpath in this location usable.

Pothole on road/cycleway problem, 8th January
I was driving home to my Dads in Market Rasen from Leeds for Christmas. I always drive back via the M180 and down the A15, and then take the left onto Redbourne Mere, onto Redbourne road and to the incident location noted earlier.
I came onto the unnamed road from the B1205, with Clock House on the left, I was travelling probably around 40-45mph. It was dark and at the last minute I saw a man in dark clothes walking a dog on the right side of the road, I veered slightly to the left and felt and heard a huge bang. I immediately thought I had a puncture although my car has run flats and I have never suffered a puncture in them. I stopped about 100 or so meters up the road after slowly coming to a stop and assessing what was happening. I limped the car back to Market Rasen where I was unable to fix the tyre (except for an RAC call out of £330 which I was not willing to pay). On the 24th, no-one could provide on the day service in Market Rasen because they had to order run-flats in, so I had to wait until garages opened on the 27th. I limped the car to my mums in Lincoln on the 26th to see her for Christmas and then on the morning of the 27th called Dexcel (garage) in Lincoln, who said they had to order a tyre in and booked me in for the morning of the 28th. I was eventually able to take it to be repaired on the morning of the 28th, and left it at the garage at around 11 as agreed. At about 12:30 I received a call saying that the wheel was slightly bent and it would take much longer to fix, asking me to come back at around 16:30 as they need to heat the wheel up and reshape it which is a laborious and and time consuming job. I picked up the car up later that day, paid up and drove off £208.30 lighter.

South ramper road leading to ivy house farm dn21 4rp, 3rd January
One side of the public highway section of south ramper road has collapsed it has been getting worse over the last few months, but with the increased flooding it’s got a lot worse now at a stage where you can hit the bottom of a vehicle when you drive down the road. We note there are some roadworks due to start close by on the 16/1/24 perhaps an opportunity to access/fix.?

End of footpath next to Common Lane Bridge, 2nd January
The previously reported problem (Ref: 462630) has been incorrectly marked as fixed. The contractors clearing the path further up the road made no attempt to clear the path at this end. In fact, the photo they uploaded as 'proof' was a different stretch of the road and was clearly taken in summer (the leaves on the trees and hedge are a dead giveaway!).
The footpath here is in a very poor state and completely unusable from the tree up to the bridge (about a 30m stretch). As it is on a bend, this makes walking on the road very dangerous.
As this was supposed to to be fixed at the same time as the end of the footpath near to Waddingham, please give this work priority and resolve ASAP. Multiple reports have been made over the past 12 months to try and resolve this issue.
