Road surface dreadful, 30th April
Road surface between B1228 and A63 (Barnhill Lane) is dreadful. urgently requires resurfacing due to worn away road markings and uneven road surface.

The road surface on the main road between Knedlington crossroads and the Howden A63 turnoff is in a dangerous condition and urgently needs sorting out. It is very dangerous for motorcycles and I nearly came off despite being aware of it., 18th December
The road surface on the main road between Knedlington crossroads and the Howden A63 turnoff is in a dangerous condition and urgently needs sorting out. It is very dangerous for motorcycles and I nearly came off despite being aware of it. If a motorcyclist gets on this section at night (it is unlit) it could cause a serious accident. I have previously reported the road surface to Highways Agency who said "not our responsibility" and the council who said "it's highways". The road surface has been in poor condition for over a year and this I find totally inacceptable!

A series of bad potholes in this area of the road. Very poor road surface and potholes getting larger and deeper by the day. Very dangerous for cyclists.

Poor road surface and particularly one dangerous area, 8th May
1. On the B1228 the whole road surface is poor.
2. On the A63 travelling towards Howden from Newsholme there is a dangerous area of road on the corner and this needs looking at ASAP as there is a large amount of the road surface missing, this will be a real issue for motor bikes.
